When checking my flight status online is it listed as "closed". What does this mean?

I'm checking a JetBlue flight. The flight leaves in 4 hours, so it hasn't closed boarding yet.

1. You didn't mention which website that you're checking, so it's hard to say for certain. However, "closed" usually means that passenger boarding is completed and no more passengers are being accepted. However, the aircraft has not yet departed.
